EP Renewal Service Overview

新加坡的就业准证(EP)通常首次有效期为两年,到期前的三到六个月内需要向人力部(MOM)提交续签申请。EP能否成功续签,关键取决于以下几个方面:

1.  公司是否有真实正常运营
很多客户误以为只要有会计账目和定期发工资就算是“正常运营”,但人力部更关注的是企业是否有实际业务运作,包括真实的销售合同、资金流水、销售记录(如邮件、聊天记录等)。续签时人力部通常只查资金流水,但日常如遇抽查,还会核查更全面的资料。

2. 公司注册地址的合规性
使用大量公司共用的注册地址(例如挂靠地址)可能被视为“壳公司”,影响EP续签的可信度。建议至少租赁一个共享办公工位,提供一个实际办公场所。

3. 公司运营能力
人力部会评估公司是否有继续支付EP薪资的能力,若公司账上资金不足或长时间处于亏损状态,续签成功率将大打折扣。建议公司保持正向盈利,确保收入高于支出。

4. 是否雇佣本地员工
虽然不是强制要求,但雇佣本地员工会大大增加续签的成功率。新加坡政府重视外籍企业对本地就业市场的贡献,若企业没有任何本地员工,将可能被质疑真实经营状况。

⚠️ 尤其要注意:不要尝试以虚假资料、假账或“走流水”方式应付检查。一旦被人力部查实,不仅EP续签会被拒,严重者还将被列入黑名单,永久丧失申请新加坡工作准证的资格。

In Singapore, the Employment Pass (EP) is typically valid for 2 years. Renewal applications must be submitted to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) 3 to 6 months before the pass expires. Whether an EP can be successfully renewed largely depends on the following key factors:

1.  Genuine Business Operations
Many applicants mistakenly believe that simply maintaining accounting records and paying a salary qualifies as "normal operations." However, MOM places more emphasis on real business activities, such as sales contracts, bank transactions, and sales records (emails, chat logs, etc.). Although MOM usually reviews only bank statements during renewal, it may conduct random audits that require complete business documentation.

2. Registered Business Address
Using a shared or virtual address (commonly used by many companies) may be flagged as a shell company setup and negatively impact the renewal application. It's highly recommended to rent at least a coworking desk to establish a genuine business presence.

3. Company’s Operational Viability
MOM will evaluate whether the company has sufficient financial capability to continue paying the EP holder's salary. If the company is operating at a loss or has insufficient funds in its bank account, the renewal is at risk of being rejected. A positive net income — where annual revenue exceeds expenses — is ideal.

4. Hiring of Local Employees
While not mandatory, employing local staff significantly increases your renewal chances. The Singapore government values contributions to the local job market. If no local employees are hired, MOM may question the authenticity of the company’s operations.

⚠️ Note: Do not attempt to fabricate transactions or bank records to pass MOM’s scrutiny. Any misconduct may result in warnings, EP cancellation, or permanent blacklisting from holding any Singapore work visa.
